This is part of a Pokémon project I'm doing to celebrate the whole 10th Anniversary of the games (*Which sparked off everything else~!*) which is basically doing 100 pictures based on the games/show/manga/whatever to the themes I kind of "borrowed" from fanart100 on Live Journal (*I'm not entering this to it simply cos it would make me just not finish it, not entering it means I can do it in my own leisure*)

So this is for the first of the themes which is "beginnings".
Ho-Oh represents beginnings for Ash/Satoshi, he saw it at the beginning of his first journey and also saw it after his Johto journey which made him to decide to go to Hoenn and start completely from scratch. Here I've tried to illustrate how it looked in the first episode, with it flying towards a rainbow, completely coloured in gold, sparkling in the sunlight ^^

I remember that episode! Back then I thought it was a mangled-looking Moltres because I wasn't aware of the many many more generations that were to come :XD:
Makes me wonder if what Ash saw was actually Ho Oh or Mew disguised as Ho Oh.
